I've already had several comments and questions on the ravens seen at Occoquan
today. Yes, it is unusual! The birds in question were larger than the crows
with wedge-shaped tails when seen in flight. Both Laura Catterton and I had
good looks at them and I still didn't believe it until I saw one perched beside
a crow for comparison. So don't hesitate to question the sighting. It's proper
to ask because it IS a big deal!
