Around 2pm on Sunday I found (refound?) a Redpoll in the same tree as
yesterday, this time affording great looks. It appeared to be a female
COMMON REDPOLL. The tree has been extremely active with birds (juncos,
goldfinches, red-winged blackbirds) each time I've visited it.
Again, no Crossbills. Lots of PINE SISKINS, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, and
YELLOW-BREASTED SAPSUCKERS, as usual.
