Following up on Susan Heath's post...

A trip to Huntley Meadows this morning to look for the GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was rewarded not only with the goose, but with a EURASIAN (COMMON) TEAL, spotted by Rob Hilton. I managed to get a few digiscoped pics in strong wind through Chris Barnard's telescope:

The field marks are clearly evident, the most prominent being the pale horizontal stripe and lack of vertical stripe. For all the good pics from the visit, including the goose (which was very close), go here:
