VA-Birders,
In examining the photos posted by Derek Richardson, I am wondering if I see a
hint of a vertical breast bar or if it is something in the foreground. A
partial white bar would suggest an intergrade between the American form and the
European form. What do others think? Perhaps additional photos would confirm
the absence of the bar. I admit, I did not see any bar at all today when I
observed the bird, but pictures can tell the story.
