We came across a few waves of Warblers at the Occoquan NWR this afternoon.
About half way down Easy Road we hit a mixed flock of warblers that
included the Connecticut as well as Black & White, Magnolia, Redstart,
and Parula. At Deep Hole Point we hit another mixed flock and added Yellow,
and a colorful Cape May. At various locations we saw Palm, Common
Yellowthroat, and Yellow-Rumped warblers. We also saw our first of the
season Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker.
