Since it was a bit cooler yesterday, I decided to swing by Crewe's
Channel on the way home. It was a rush trip since I was limited on
time, but I was glad I stopped.
The front side had the following:
White egrets - 16
GBH - 4
Tri-Colors - 2
Crows - 2
I walked along to road the the backside for the first time. It is quite
overgrown in spots, but their is a road to walk along. The back side
had the following:
White egrets - 4
GBH - 4
Green herons - 2
Bald eagles - 2
Killdeer - 4
Pileated woodpeckers - 4
Blue grosbeak - 2
I also encountered a doe and two fawns that startled all of us.
I took a couple pics even though the light was bad. Their is one shore
bird and one tree bird that I haven't ID'd.
