Hi everyone,
I visited Crewe's Channel and Harrison Lake Fish Hatchery this morning, and
then did a quick drive-thru of Shirley Plantation on my way home.
Highlights were the 2 TRICOLORED HERONS at Crewe's, shorebirds plus 1 LITTLE
BLUE HERON and 1 YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at the fish hatchery, and a GREAT
HORNED OWL at Shirley. Below is the total list of species, including links
to see pics of the Little Blue Heron, Green Heron, Least Sandpiper and Great
Horned Owl.
Crewe's Channel (the recent rain has elevated the water and no shorebirds
besides Killdeer were seen):
