Yesterday and today the dominant birds at the Cub Run woods in Chantilly were
--- of course, Yellow-Rumped Warblers. Robins came in a close second for
number of birds. But in addition I had a couple of other noteables:
Cedar Waxwing - flock of at least 20
Ruby-Crowned Kinglet - 2, foraging together
Chestnut-Sided Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 1
Field Sparrow - 2, both days - interesting because I don't see them here in
spring or summer
