Lynda and I went to Cumberland Marsh Preserve in New Kent this morning.
We saw several new birds and were also treated to a Bald Eagle and Osprey.
While at the viewing platform, we saw and photographed a Waterthrush. I
think it is a Lousiana, Lynda thinks it is a Northern. Even with
various angles and pictures, it is difficult to tell. Comments are
welcome on ID'ing this bird. We also saw a Blue-Gray GnatCatcher that
entertained us for a bit. We headed down toward the dam area and that
is where we observed the eagle and osprey. We also saw and photographed
a Red-Eyed Vireo and several other birds that we are unsure of. This is
one of them:

(maybe an immature Blue Grosbeak?)
