Two flocks of Snow Geese in flight were the best of the day, one 76 geese and
the other 91. The 76 were heading west and the 91 were heading north. The
yellow rumps were nice as well, I was standing by some bushes for some time and
the longer I stood the more yellow rumps came out. Intermingled with the
yellow rumps were blue birds and american goldfinch. After the rain on Friday
there was some puddling in the fields and the Kill Deer went from puddle to
puddle, it was also nice to see. On the dry part of the farm fields the meadow
larks were hanging out. When the Red Tail flew over and screeched all the
birds took off from the field, it was great to watch.
