We birded parts of 3 counties today, looking primarily for Dickcissel,
Grasshopper Sparrow, Bobolink, & Red-headed WP.
Frederick Co:
Grasshopper Sp. - 10
DICKCISSEL - 1 male (in spot where they bred last year; seemed alone, like
he just got here = more to come)
Bobolink - 1 male in a new area / 2M + 2F (area noted in previous years)
RHWP - 5
Clarke Co:
Bobolink - 4-6 singing males (Redgate Rd)
Warren Co:
Bobolink - 10M + 2F (usual Milldale Rd spot)
