I walked a trail at Dutch Gap today looking for woodland birds.  Highlight
was an EASTERN PHOEBE.  Does anyone know the late date for them around here?

I also saw 2 Hermit Thrush eating berries--the first I've seen this season.
Other species seen were just the usuals:

American Robin
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Turkey and Black Vultures
Flicker
Hairy and Downy WP
Carolina Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Yellow-rumps
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
N. Cardinal
