Despite light snow, two Wilson's snipe and two Killdeer flew over the marsh
near the footbridge. Four red-necked grebes, five Horned Grebes and one pied
billed grebe continue to be seen between the marina and boardwalk. Waterfowl
sighted include Canvasback (Two), Ruddy Duck, Bufflehead, Wood Duck and
Lesser Scaup as well as Black Duck and Mallard. Common Mergansers and Red
Breasted Mergansers are present but in reduced numbers.
