About fifteen people showed up for the weekly walk at Dyke Marsh sponsored by
the Friends of Dyke Marsh and held every Sunday at 8:00 AM. It is free and
open to all. We are in a bit of a slow time of the year, so we saw only 36
species. Nevertheless we had some nice highlights including Dunlin and Bald
Eagles out on the river, a Red-shouldered Hawk perched low in the woods, a
flock of Cedar Waxwings in the picnic area, and a good opportunity to study
some up close gulls.
