Sherm Suter and Bud Larkin joined yours truly for the Sunday morning walk at
Dyke Marsh this morning. We could not find Ben Jesup's pipits from yesterday's
waterfowl survey, but did locate Rusty Blackbirds. We also got all three
mergansers. Nice, since there were not many ducks. Best birds of the day were
4 American Tree Sparrows foraging on the path with other sparrow species just
30 yards north of the dogleg and a Peregrine Falcon over the Potomac being
harassed by 2 Ring-billed Gulls.
