Despite the wind, Katherine Wychulis and I ventured down to Dyke Marsh in
search of woodcocks. None were to be heard (not surprising considering the
conditions), but we got the consolation prize of a Red-necked Grebe in
nearly complete alternate plumage and a fine-looking Fox Sparrow. Still lots
of Song Sparrows about as well- over 100 I would say.
