Paul Glass and I spent today on the lower eastern shore, mostly at ESVNWR. Big
numbers of robins, yellow-rumps and tree swallows. Highlights there included
TENNESSEE WARBLER near the visitor center, NORTHERN PARULA near the bunkers,
SORA at the Ramp Rd. pond and a GOLDEN EAGLE also near the pond. Other
interesting birds were COMMON TERN at CBBT Island 1, VESPER SPARROW near Jones
Cove Drive, EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE and 2 SEDGE WRENS on Magotha Road and a
SPOTTED SANDPIPER at Willis Wharf. Good birding.
