Hello all,
A couple who live in Downtown Lynchburg
reported a Eurasian Collared Dove visiting
their feeder about 2 weeks ago off and on.
I decided to go check it out yesterday
afternoon after work. I arrived at the house
at 5:40 and was not disappointed. I was there
less than 5 min. and saw the Dove sitting on a wire.
It stayed for about a min. and flew off to a nearby tree.
It called 6 times but I never saw it. This would be a
first sighting for Lynchburg and vicinity.
