Hello all
Last week I saw a post for Red Crossbill's up at Reddish Knob . So I ventured
up this morning to see if I could find them . I was not disappointed . I found
3 of them about a mile or so from the intersection of service road 85 . I took
85 up to the top & played in the SNOW for a while . While there I saw a Black -
throated Green Warbler . Snow -- Warbler ? what is wrong with this picture !
Any way it was fun . The real treat was when I was going up on Briery Branch
Rd. ( Rt. 257 W ) just past the little white church on the left & Rt. 604 (
closer to 604 ) mail box 511-- I found a pair of Eurasian Collared Dove's on
the wire . They may be worth watching to see if they nest . No camera RATS!!.
Good birding to all.
