Today at about 3:30 p.m. a Eurasian (phaeopus, presumably) Whimbrel fly past
Snow Goose Pool with a Western Willet and eight hudsonicus Whimbrel -- all
spotted by Paul Pisano.  About 179 plus 140 Stilt Sandpipers (first and last
parts of Wildlife Drive) continue in Snow Goose Pool, with only a few hundred
Short-billed Dowitchers currently, and the regular other migrant shorebirds.
Mike
Iwanik noted the first Black Tern of the season at Swan Cove today.
