Ex-Nothern Virginian Sharon Lynn found a Wood
Sandpiper at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge,
Broadkill Beach, Delaware, on Monday.
This is a first record for the Mid Atlantic area, not
just Delaware.

To get to Prime Hook NWR, go east on Del. Rt. 16 from
Del. Rt. 1, a few miles northwest of Lewes and
southeast of Milford.

The bird is apparently a little skittish, so please be
