This morning a FOS Brown Thrasher showed up at my feeders while yesterday
two Pine Siskins briefly stopped by. There were two White-crowned Sparrows
along my driveway yesterday and two American Kestrels, a male and a female,
sitting side by side about a ½ mile from my house today near some sycamores
where kestrels have nested in the past. Yesterday also found two Wilsons
Snipes and two Common Mergansers in the neighborhood.
Still no swallows of any kind in the neighborhood though there were lots of
Tree Swallows swirling over the near-by Shenandoah River over the weekend.
