Regional Park. The program is free - but registration is required.

Birding for Beginners
Sat., April 13, 9 a.m. Arlington Public Library, 1015 N. Quincy St.,
Arlington VA
Sat., April 20, 8 a.m. Potomac Overlook Regional Park, 2845 N. Marcey Rd.,
Arlington, VA
Aspiring and novice bird watchers will learn basic skills to help them
find, identify and enjoy birds in a two-part program in mid-April. The
classroom session will meet on Saturday, April 13, at 9 a.m., at the
Arlington Public Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., with a field session the
following Saturday, April 20, at 8 a.m., at the Northern Virginia Regional
Park Authority's nature preserve at Potomac Overlook Regional Park.
Fledgling birders will discover how to use binoculars, find birds in the
field, identify birds and use a field guide. This free program is for
adults and youth age 10 and older. Advance reservations are required;
call 703-528-5406. Participants should bring binoculars.
