Subject: Martins at Bryan Park
With help from Sue Ridd and Victoria Cooper, the purple martins are
building a nest in the martins birdhouse that islocated in Bryan Park. As
a result of using the dawn song recording, we have helped the purple
martins to locate the the martins birdhouse. Many thanks to Victoria
Cooper. The martins came in on her watch as she played the dawn song.They
began building their nest on saturday, May 1, '10. I removed a fully
constructed sparrow nest on saturday as well.Again, thanks Victoria for
helping Sue and me with this monitoring of the Bryan Park Purple Martins
