I stopped by Burke Lake Park, Fairfax County, this morning. It was cold and
raining, but I scoped the birds and found a Cackling Goose among the 100 or
so Canada Geese. I then got back in the warm dry car and checked out a few
other places. It was definitely a good day to be birding by car!
