I got a chance to bird Edmunds Park in Halifax County this morning. There
was quite a bit of activity, but I didn't find the warblers that I was
hoping for. I did find my first of the season Yellow-Rumped Warbler and
Yellow Bellied Sapsucker. I also had a close encounter with an Accipiter,
but I couldn't make an id as it swooped about 10 feet from me in pursuit of
a Chickadee.
