Hi All,
Yesterday fellow bird club member, Don Carrier, and I birded around my place
here on the mountain. The birds were on the move with new species showing up
all day. We had 54 species here plus a couple more on around the mountain.
The warblers that came through were
American Redstarts 3 (2 adult males, 1 female)
Black-and-white Warblers 4 (2m, 2f)
Blackburnian Warblers 2 (1m, 1f)
Cape May Warbler 1f
Black-throated Green Warblers 3 (1m, 2f)
Chestnut-sided Warblers 2 (1m, 1f)
Hooded Warblers 2m
Magnolia Warbler 1
Palm Warblers 2
Pine Warblers 2
Tennessee Warblers 3
Worm-eating Warblers 4
Other migrants included
Blue-headed Vireos 2
Philadelphia Vireo 1
Red-eyed Vireos 3
Yellow-throated Vireo 1
Common Raven
Eastern Phoebes 2

Brown Thrashers 7
Gray Catbirds 4
