Hi, Group:
This is my first message to the group, greetings to all!
I saw a few messages about watching woodcock mating rituals at Dyke Marsh
and also Loudoun County. I understand they are crepuscular. I have a couple
of questions --
1. Are there any "viewing parties" organized for this weekend? If so, do
you mind sharing the information.
2. What is the best time to see them -- I mean I know they are crepuscular,
but is it best before sunrise? around sunrise? before sunset? after sunset?
Any other information regarding location and time is greatly appreciated. I
am ethical birder/photographer and will not disturb the birds.
Thanks in advance,
Howard Wu
