I visited Conway-Robinson State Forest in Prince William Co. this morning,
based on the great day Phil Kenny and David Ledwith had yesterday.
Definitely migrants about, but not the floods Phil and David experienced.
We found 14 species of warbler (plus chat), and saw good numbers of
black-and-white and redstart in particular. Highlights were a common
nighthawk, flying over at 9:30am, 6 veery, wood thrush, northern harrier (hi
flyer), and red-headed woodpecker. The complete list is below.
