Comments: A juvenile and adult Mississippi Kite perched in a partially dead tree, visible from Orange Hunt Lane. Adult flew off and juvenile remained in the tree - occasionally flying out and back, and preening. 5-6 Blue jays harrassed the bird when it was perched more out in the open.

Mississippi Kite 2 An adult and a juvenile perched in the top of a partially dead tree near the corner of Orange Hunt Lane and Red Fox Drive. Two other birders were there with spotting scope. Photos were taken by both parties of birders
