Stan Bentley called this morning to tell me about a large group of Greater
White-fronted Geese and Tundra Swans on a farm pond next to the New River
Valley Fairgrounds. The birds were still present on my arrival, and while I was
watching and counting them I had 15 Sandhill Cranes flyover this location!
