Ten birders were part of the Bles Park walk this morning, sponsored by the
Northern Virginia Bird Club and also listed with the Audubon Society of No.
VA. Warblers were scarce, but we saw a yellow-billed cuckoo (FOS for most
of us), green heron, great egret, indigo buntings, and a first year male
orchard oriole. Flycatchers were more heard than seen, but red-eyed vireos
were surprisingly cooperative. Group list is below.
