Chincoteague was better than I expected today, with good numbers of waterfowl -
see eBird list below.
For those considering a visit this week, there is a deer hunt each morning at
the refuge and some areas are closed for this. It does not affect access to
the Wildlife Drive in the afternoon, or along Beach Road at any time. There is
also some clean up work going on.
