Yesterday's Bird Walk at New Kent Forestry Center, part of the "Walk in the
Forest" day, was well attended and the birds were very cooperative.
See the list below as entered into eBird by leader Susan Powell. Not on the
list but observed by another group were Brown Creepers and a Red-shouldered
Hawk, observed along the Cypress Trail between 9 and 10 am.
Many thanks to Lisa Deaton and the VA Dept of Forestry for opening this area to
the public yesterday.
