Twelve birders joined the walk at Silver Lake this morning sponsored by the
Audubon Society of Northern Virginia. The quarry yielded the most variety,
with highlights being the lone horned grebe, and the large flock of
redheads which continues here. Fields and woods were a bit quieter than
during the past week, perhaps due to the heavily overcast skies. We
totaled 35 species. Ebird list follows.
