I spent an hour this morning walking the outer trail of the native
grasses and wildflower meadow at George Washington's Ferry Farm in
Stafford County. Lots of birds in the meadow, trees and brush piles,
including several migrants. Highlights include:
Black-and-white Warbler (1)
Am. Redstart (2)
Blackburnian Warbler (1)
Worm-eating Warbler (2)
Common Yellowthroat (2)
Also, multiple Red-eyed Vireos, and Blue-gray Gnatcatchers observed.
