Yesterday morning I relocated the juvenile RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. Flyovers
included two COMMON NIGHTHAWKS and one BOBOLINK.
I went back out in the afternoon and it was dead silent save for a juvenile
male cardinal, who betrayed two WORM-EATING WARBLERS, one each GOLDEN-WINGED,
BLUE-WINGED, MAGNOLIA, and CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS, and one NORTHERN PARULA,
all in the same bush. Not bad for ten minutes of afternoon birding.
