Spring was in the air and the birds were out!
First thing in the morning, one lone *Scaup* and *two Red-necked
Grebes*were fishing. The newly arrived *Yellow-rumped
Warbler* was about.
Around ten I came home to find *two juvenile Red-shouldered Hawks* making a
ruckus in the river birch. I ran into to get my camera and the *Western
Tanager* was just sitting on the deck railing! Took a quick picture and
noticed the
*Bald E**agle *was in his tree.
Shortly after 11:00, the *Pileated Woodpecker* came through and a
*Double-breasted
Cormorant* flew over.
Here are some shots I managed to get.
