Hello all
Today after work I did a couple of hours of bird watching to see what is new in
the County . Coming up the back way from Stuarts Draft Rt . 251 In a small pond
was 2 Blue Winged Teal & 1 Lesser Yellowlegs. Moving on to the Middlebrook --
Swoope area here is what I found .
Boy Scout Camp
D C Cormorants -- 2
Osprey-- 1
N . Flicker -- 2 flying to nest hole in dead tree
Vesper Sparrow -- 1
Grasshopper -- 2 singing
Smith's pond
Vesper Sparrow -- 1
Grasshopper -- 1 singing good close up views
Savannah -- 1 singing one fence post away from Grasshopper Sparrow
Rt . 876 in a wooded area a N . Flicker making a nesting cavity
