Oops! It seems I erroneously sent this to the atlas list serve yesterday:
A flock of 14 Great Egrets spent much of Monday at a private, flooded field
west of Bridgewater. This was a really nice-sized flock for Rockingham
County! Clair Mellinger's "Birds of Rockingham County" mentions just a couple
of reports of flocks as large as 10-14, with most reports of 1-3 birds. The
high count in (more recent) eBird records was eight on Oct 16, 2003 (Greg
Moyers.)
