Four birders welcomed back winter this Sunday morning. The list that
follows could have been one compiled back in February. We saw none of the new
spring migrants reported the past two Sundays. Despite the cold, the
swollen buds of wildflowers--bloodroot, toothwort, and spring beauty--were
ready
to burst forth if only the weather would only cooperate.
The walk is held every Sunday morning and all birders are welcome to join
in. We meet outside the visitors center.
