Our stalwart group of three talllied 32 species on this rainy morning. The
river was high and fast with limited waterfowl.
It was pretty slow going. We did have a FOS phoebe. There were two great blue
herons inspecting nests on Conn Island.
The eagle on the nest continues to be seen. Spring peepers were in full chorus
at the clay pond where one lone slider
was out. Peepers were also at the vernal ponds in the woods. Stay dry! --
