Today, August 16, 2008, I had a Chestnut-sided Warbler in my yard, the
earliest I have this species in the yard during fall migration, though back in
2006, I observed one in the Riverbend Park meadow on August 14.
The earliest fall warblers in the yard this year were Redstart on August 5
and Black And White on August 7. I assume that these two species nest in
this area at least minimally.
