Many thanks to Jennifer Schrand (aka the Ross' Goose lady) for her excellent
info and to Bill Kirk for sharing his driveway, lawn chairs and hummingbird! I
saw the Rufous (probably) Hummingbird today and then the Great Blue Heron
(White Morph). It was just to the west of the bridge where the river sort-of
splits.
The good news is, that I saw these wonderful birds. The mediocre news is that
the photos are, well, mediocre. I am posting 14 of the Rufous just so folks can
get some looks at different angles. As most of you know, there is the
possibility that it is an Allen's. I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts as to to
positive i.d. After a bit, I will probably delete a few of the hummer.
