Hi Va-Birders,
Ten members of the Hampton Road Bird Club walked the trails at Sandy Bottom
Nature Park in Hampton this morning prior to our annual picnic.
Best bird was a Gull-billed Tern that flew by us over the impoundment in the
west end of the park. Indigo Bunting was most abundant species, with 15 seen or
heard all along the trails. We all had great looks at an immature Summer
Tanager.
