Visitors:
Many out-of-state cars came through; many had questions about the hawks.
Many motorcycles up and down the Parkway. No hikers seen on the Trail
today.
Weather:
NW winds at a constant 3-4 throughout the watch, with temperatures of
20-27C. Visibility was good starting at a 2 and ending with a clear 4.
Raptor Observations:
3 bald eagles today. First adult BE at 2:25; second adult BE at 2:30; third
adult BE at 3:24. First bird of the day was a Cooper's Hawk at 10:30. All
birds came over the top of the Knob and headed south on the west side. Late
in the day, they had a tendency to go on the east side.
Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
Forecast is calling for a bright, clear day with a few clouds. Humidity
will be down and it should be a pleasant day. Winds from NW but not as
strong as today.
