Visitors:
Some local hikers and a young film maker who interviewed Baron just off his
motorcycle, (The Motorcycle Chronicles?).
Great help from regular (now official addict) Carl and Dave B. (addict
potential: strong) and Debbie. Dave got some great photos (potential
hawkwatch videographer).
Weather:
Beautiful fall day, chilly with no clouds. Very little wind, mostly from
the northwest, shifting to the southeast, but not for long. Clear as it
can be.
Raptor Observations:
Steady appearance of Red Tails with one gathering group of 12. A late
Osprey picked up by Carl who later found a Kestrel that didn't go through.
Imm. BE at 11:43, Adult BE at 1:59 that came up from the West valley and
over the top, preceded by an imm. GE at 1:50 on the East side. This
appearance was preceded by several TV's flapping frantically to be above
the on-coming Golden.
Non-raptor Observations:
Couple of Monarchs beautiful against the deep blue sky. Many visitors.
