Nice couple helped me for a while - from their car.
Weather:
The very cold temperature was balanced somewhat by the lack of wind. Clear
and cloudless day. The slight wind was from the Northwest and shifted
after noon to the Southeast a little less slightly.
Raptor Observations:
80% of the hawks came after noon. One SS, hunting, almost caught me; the
other, later on the East side, combined for 40% of the total. Do you have
enough information to calculate the total number of hawks?
Non-raptor Observations:
Two runners going North on the AT denied heading for Maine - this time.
Predictions:
Warmer, fewer math problems, perhaps.
