Weather:
Breezy, cloudy in AM with sun in the afternoon (the weather people got it
right!). There was haze out in the valley, even with the breezes and cool
temps. That improved in the last hour.
Raptor Observations:
Not much Vulture activity until the afternoon, and then it was sporadic.
No large numbers of Ravens as have been reported occasionally.
Non-raptor Observations:
Chickadee, Titmouse, WB Nuthatch, Junco, Downy WP, Fox Sparrow, Raven, TV,
BV, RT, Crow, Carolina Wren. A Chipmunk - something I am not used to
seeing at the lookout. Unfamiliar looking military planes. We think one
broke the sound barrier - a sound I have not heard in a long while.
Hardly any vehicular traffic or pull-ins.
