Ravens playing in the wind.
Weather:
A car rocking, wind socking, car hawking day that started cloudy, but
quickly cleared. Winds were 4 to 7 with gusts in the 30's, but not the
40's predicted for the valley. Cold, but not too bad in the car; Kelvin
Chill scale outside.
Raptor Observations:
Good opportunity to go South, but either they passed on it or they had
passed. Eagles must be fishing at Lake Moomaw. One quick sharpie tried
for some junc food, but missed. Lots of kiting.
Non-raptor Observations:
Little traffic, one hunter went for a walk, one motorbiker with icy
eyebrows. Saw a raccoon on the stretch before Great Valley, a first for
me. Thought of all the watchers who have been here alone in late November.
Predictions:
November will continue.
